Hi, I'm Jordan.

As a son of Harlem and fourth generation Harlemite, I embarked on this journey long before I was even born. Shaped by education, activism, and a politically engaged family that has nurtured me, supported me and always taught me to do the right thing.

I am a proud Syracuse University alum and since graduating I have further proved to myself that education is the key to progress in all areas of life. A first-rate education is not available to everyone, though it should be. I decided that I needed to be doing more to improve the lives of those around me, those who came before me and those who will walk the streets of Harlem when I am no longer around.

By teaching and coaching at a local school, joining NY County Democrats and becoming part of Community Board 11 where I have focused on parks, open spaces and licenses I have realized that Harlem is where my heart has always been and will remain for as long as I live.

In every single role that I have embraced up until this point I found a platform to enact tangible change and I played a pivotal role in amplifying the voices of marginalized communities. I remain steadfast in my commitment to effecting positive change and advancing the principles of justice, equity, and inclusivity in my community and beyond.

As a child of the village, a former community board member, a Chief of Staff for the city council representative - I want to continue my life’s work as the next representative of the 70th Assembly District.  Harlem is my home and it would be the greatest honor of my life to represent you.
